Description
The M454 is a large oval brass glockenspiel mallet, great when bright projection is needed in a wind band or contemporary chamber setting. Surprisingly good for metal sounds on pieces like David Lang’s Anvil Chorus and more.
- 7/8″ Round brass core mounted on a Rattan Handle
- Oval shape provides clarity and agility around the instrument
- Very hard, bright sound on the glockenspiel, crotales, and metal found objects
- 13.5″ Overall Length
- Compare to former model, Vic Firth Orchestral M145
